Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026
This policy explains how personal information is handled by caleb.rocks - the freelance web design service operated by Caleb Bruce Whittaker, sole trader (ABN 62 866 297 258), based on the Granite Belt, Queensland, Australia ("I", "me", "my"). It's deliberately short and plain, because privacy policies shouldn't need a lawyer on standby.
What information may be collected
If you contact me through the enquiry form, I may receive information such as your name, business name, email address, phone number and message. When you visit the site, hosting and third-party service providers may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, request details and timestamps for purposes such as delivering the website, security and troubleshooting.
What I do with it
I use it to reply to your enquiry and, if we end up working together, to deliver the services you asked for. I don't sell, rent or trade your information, and I don't add you to any mailing list.
Who else sees it
- FormSubmit - processes information submitted through the enquiry form so it can be delivered to me.
- Cloudflare - hosts this website and, like all web hosts, keeps technical server logs (such as your IP address and browser) for security and troubleshooting.
Third-party and overseas processing
Some service providers used by this website operate internationally or may process information using infrastructure outside Australia. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy terms and applicable laws. I choose service providers with reasonable regard to privacy and security and only use them where reasonably necessary to operate the website or provide services.
Tracking and cookies
This website does not intentionally set first-party advertising or analytics cookies and does not currently use behavioural advertising or visitor-tracking analytics. Third-party services may process technical information as described above.
How long information is kept
Enquiry information is generally kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or actual client relationship, maintain business records, resolve disputes and meet legal or tax obligations. Information that is no longer reasonably required may be deleted or de-identified.
Access, correction and privacy concerns
You can contact me to ask what personal information I hold about you, request a correction, or ask for information to be deleted where appropriate. I aim to handle personal information responsibly and consistently with applicable Australian privacy law. If you have a concern, contact me first and I will try to resolve it promptly.
External links
This site links to a small number of external sites (if any). Their privacy practices are their own - check their policies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals having jurisdiction in Queensland.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be flagged on the home page.
